Is there a Law in Michigan that states it is a felony for teenagers under 17 to consensual sex?
My Duaghter and her boyfriend at the time alledgedly had sex, her father filed charges on both. Yet I talked to the police an they have never heard of this type of charge. Yet they filed the charge.

Most children who are abducted or abused are very young. It is imperative that they know things like stranger-danger, appropriate touching, etc. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this bill....further, I would think that most children who were sexually abused by parents, teachers, family friends, etc. would tell you that they didn't understand that it was 'wrong' because the people molesting them said it was 'something special between just you and me'. Every 6 minutes a child is harmed in this country.
